Slow Bal 1, all-levels, Galen & Ross – Memories of You Slow Balboa is a general term used for dancing in styles inspired by the original Balboa swing dancers from California who liked to dance to slow music. This class will introduce the foundations of connection, steps, and rhythms for comfortable and musical dancing. Slow Bal 2, all-levels, Galen & Ross – ​​Stardust Modern Slow Balboa is heavily influenced by three specific historic dancers. In this class we will focus on two of those dancers, Dean and Nancy Raftery. We’ll explore their Slow Balboa steps and the characteristic ‘swim’ across the floor.
