Once your event is live, the event dashboard gives you everything you need to track attendees, handle money, and communicate with registrants. Open it from your event page by clicking “Dashboard.”
The People tab
The People tab is your home base. It shows all registrations, defaulting to completed ones. You can filter by status (draft, pending, completed, cancelled, refunded), pass category, role, or search by name and email. This makes it easy to check lead/follow balance or find a specific person.
Exporting data
Click CSV export to download your registration data. Each row includes the person’s name, email, pass type, role, amounts paid, platform fees, estimated and actual Stripe fees, bib number, and registration date. You can filter by status before exporting, so you only get the rows you need.
This is useful for reconciling finances after the event or building a check-in list.
Issuing refunds
Find the registration in the People tab and hit refund. For paid registrations, this triggers a refund through Stripe directly. Free registrations just get their status flipped to “refunded.” Only organization owners, admins, or the event’s owner profile can issue refunds.
Waitlists
When a pass tier sells out, new registrants land on the waitlist automatically (if the organizer enabled it during event setup). Waitlist entries track their status: waiting, offered, accepted, expired, or cancelled. When a spot opens up, the next person in line can be offered the spot.
Emailing registrants
The Messaging tab lets you compose an email that goes out to all completed registrants who have email notifications enabled. You’ll see the recipient count before sending. Subject and body are both required.
Good to know
- The CSV includes both estimated and actual Stripe fees, so you can reconcile your numbers against your Stripe dashboard after the event.
- Registrants are auto-marked as “going” on the event page when they complete checkout.
- Only organization owners/admins or the event owner can access the dashboard.
