Note From Conner Phillips, subtitle editor: Willie Desatoff was one of the original dancers of Balboa who was still around during the swing revival and passed on their knowledge about this amazing dance to a new generation. The audio of the recording is unfortunately very poor. I had to concentrate immensely to make out the words. A great number of dancers of Balboa around the world don't have English as a first language so I decided to go through and type up subtitles, because this is a precious resource that deserves to be accessible. Willie talked naturally with lots of interjections and pauses, I tried my best to strike a balance of literal captioning and editing it down to the core sentence. I hope this brings some value to you Balboa enthusiasts. Enjoy!
