A Lindy Hop class for leaders by Daniel Heedman who has danced Lindy Hop since 1996, worked as a full time professional swing dancer and teacher since 2003. Former member of the world renowned "The Rhythm Hot Shots" and also "Harlem Hot Shots". Daniel has been working hard to find the authentic Harlem-style of dancing Lindy Hop with role models like the legendary Frankie Manning, Albert Minns and Leon James. In this class I will reveal basic details that makes a big difference for leaders who want to find a more authentic approach. I will work on how to move your body in a relaxed way so you and your follower can put the focus on improvisation and rhythmical footwork instead of only having a lead/follow focus. I will give you some technical details on the basics but also some more fancy footwork variations. We will work on how to include the right arm, get a natural back-rock, lead with rhythmical indications rather than a constant lead, an even flow when rotating, and much more!
