Do we always contextualize the Lindy Hop in a way that promotes an appreciation for African American culture in general? At Swim Out Costa Brava 2022 we offered a space for all of us to learn more about black art and culture as well as African American history, and to reflect on the issues of racial inequalities and cultural appropriation in the jazz dance community.
