Meet in the Middle

While the Queen's and Kingston Swing dance community cannot claim to be the largest scene in the region, located at a middle point between a number of major centres, Queen's Swing Dance Club takes pride in its convenient proximity to a number of larger dance communities. Meet in the Middle (MitM), the club's annual Swing dance-centered weekend, promotes and celebrates a coming-together of dancers, instructors, and musicians from around the Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence region. After a five year pause, MitM will return in 2026. This event will be packed with Swing, or Swing-adjacent dance workshops, live music socials, and late-night dance parties.
