Slow Soirée - Brisbane Slow Dance Exchange 2026

A weekend-long slow dancing exchange featuring three nights of social dancing with live bands and fantastic DJs, and two afternoons of classes across all styles delivered by some of Australia's best teachers. Slow Soirée celebrates wonderful connections through Blues, slow Lindy, slow Balboa, and fusion. These dances have roots in Black American culture, and Balboa originated in the dance halls of Southern California in the 1920s.
