Account settings and Circle

Manage your email, password, notifications, and Circle membership.

Your Settings page is where you manage your account details, notification preferences, support tickets, and Circle membership.

Account basics

From Settings, you can:

  • Change your email or password (you’ll need your current password to confirm)
  • Verify your email, which is required before claiming profiles or organizations
  • Activate your dancer profile if it’s currently inactive
  • Delete your account permanently (requires password confirmation)

Notifications

Control what Swingaround sends you. You can toggle each of these on or off:

  • Inbox messages for new direct and group messages
  • Admin broadcasts for platform-wide announcements
  • Organizer emails for event updates from organizers
  • Competition results when scores or placements are published
  • Clubhouse activity for new posts in your communities
  • Auto-join organization clubhouses when you follow an org that has a linked community

Support tickets

You can submit a support ticket directly from Settings. Pick a type (“Something is broken”, “Wishlist”, or “Other”), describe the issue, and submit. Your open tickets and their status show up on the same page.

Circle membership

Circle is Swingaround’s optional subscription. It’s a pay-what-you-want monthly contribution (with a small minimum) that unlocks extras like custom profile section ordering. Head to Circle Membership to see what’s included, choose your currency and amount, and subscribe through Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the same page.

Good to know

  • Email changes take effect immediately. You’ll need to re-verify after changing your email.
  • Notification preferences only affect platform-generated notifications, not direct messages from other users.
